Woodville House is a splendid late 18th Century Olde World Period Residence and is one of only three left in the County of Westmeath that still remains untouched, The House is set of 28 acres of Woodlands that boast a Wild Bird Haven. There is a lake and fairy Fort on the grounds and beautiful walkways through the forest and surrounding grounds.

Legend has it that the good spirit has helped the staff when they are very busy by doing some of their work for them. The Good Spirit of Woodville have cut the grass and planted flowers, It has cleaned floors and prepared food when the Staff were really busNobody knows why The Good Spirit of Woodville acts this way or whether it is Male or Female, but it is believed that there is a strong connection between it and the House, so much so, that we are convinced that he or she lived here at some stage. Perhaps it is an old care taker or servant who appreciates all the good work that has been done to keep the place in such good condition. Whatever the reason, we are very grateful to have the Good Spirit of Woodville with us.
